Topic: How many people are developing dynamic blocks

my crew is resisting even 2005 -not everyone is up yet, so I too will have to wait which is tragic, since I make hundreds of blocks at a time.

I know your pain. When I was told I was getting a new puter with new Acad I thought woo-hoo 2006. But alas, our parent company have not OK'd the use of 2006 yet, in fact I think they are still testing 2005 to see if it is suitable. Now my licence comes from a license server somewhere else in the UK, but at least I did upgrade from 2002 to 2004 so I'm not too far behind

I'm using 2006 since day 1, but everyone else at our company is still using 2002. This gives me some time to develop a new menu with custom tools.

Because there is so much other work to do to for this upgrade, I've only made a few dynamic blocks and I'm still learning. Every day I see new possibilities, but at the moment there just isn't enough time to replace our entire library.

Sometimes there are more possibilities to create a Dyn.Bl. that works one way. Then it takes some knowlage and experience to make the 'light' version right away.
