2007 ADT dwg crash
« on: February 28, 2007, 09:47:16 AM »
We have a Sub who drafts for us in a crunch...she is working on 2007 ADT and saves down to 2005 ADT for us...my boss opened the dwg and when he tried to insert room # blocks the dwg crashed, so we have had to ....uggg...explode many of the blocks to get the drawing not to crash?  Has anyone else encountered this poblem?

The 2007 Civil verticals need to have the drawings EXPORTED down rather than SAVE AS or they have similar problems.

There is also an undocumented command: AECEXPORTTOAUTOCAD2004 or AECEXPORTTOAUTOCAD2000.

Maybe a mute point but are you playing with ADT also?  You might need the Hotfix - Autodesk 2005 OE patch for all those pesky ARX errors.  Pick your flavor (year)

I + XI = X is true ...  ... if you change your perspective.

I no longer CAD or Model, I just hang out here picking up the empties beer cans
