Selection Set Highlighting
« on: October 10, 2011, 03:20:15 PM »
In AutoCAD 2011 my selection set highlight is not working. The preview highlighting works fine but after I select an object, whether or not I'm in a command, it doesn't get highlighted.

Is there a variable for this?

One of these?

HIGHLIGHT
Quote
Controls object highlighting;
does not affect objects selected with grips.
0Turns off object selection highlighting
1Turns on object selection highlighting
SELECTIONPREVIEW
Quote
Controls the display of selection previewing
Objects are highlighted when the pickbox cursor rolls over them. This selection previewing indicates that the object would be selected if you clicked. The setting is stored as a bitcode using the sum of the following values:
0Off
1On when no commands are active
2On when a command prompts for object selection

HIGHLIGHT is the one. Thanks Jeff. I couldn't get out of using selection when I was looking around.
