MText to Text in dimension

Is there any way (probably using AutoLISP) to convert an MText in a dimension to a Text. I have hundreds of dimensions to be changed in my drawing.

Unless you explode the dimension and then explode the MText ...

Yes.

Use Release 12 of AutoCAD.
