Keep in mind: the 'gestation period' for an unlimited release for flight (US) is probably on the order of 8-10 years (first flight of fancy to flight release). That would be for a Part 23 bird. A Part 25 Airworthiness Cert will probably double that. That is longer than AutoCad has been a Force. Most drawings for in-service aircraft were drawn on vellum/paper. The BIG companies had/have proprietary software and are not about to release it.
Obviously there is a pipeline ... otherwise models would never be built. Then again, it does not sound like you are looking for three view drawings.
There are probably a lot of mod drawings around, but don't be surprised if most are Pro/E, Catia and such ... there is a lot of compound curve development with current materials.
