Civil 3D 2008 to Civil 3D 2011
« on: February 11, 2011, 03:49:29 PM »
Have there been many additions to the basic template as far as styles and what can be controlled?  I've got a template that I set up for 2008 a while back.  Can I use that template for 2011?  Or would it be better to import into a blank 2011 template?  Or would it be better to recreate from scratch? *shudder*

If your template had PIPE PART LIST you will want to throw that away and start over.
IF your template contained any assemblies or subs throw them away too.
other than that you will be adding a few new settings with little ill effect at all.

Cool.  I think we're pretty much good to go then.  Thanks.
