Autocad 2011 3D training
« on: December 02, 2010, 12:52:11 PM »
Can anyone recommend any on-line or offline ADVANCED 3D training for Autocad 2011? I don't need the basics I need the heavy stuff.

Thanks,
Dennis

I'm a "3der" here, but I got bad news.  I dunno.

Learned everything I know through trial, error, drinking-and-CADing, and seeing crap other people did/do and thinking "HOW THE CRAP CAN I DO THAT IN MY LAME HALF-BAKED SOFTWARE?"

However, it helps if you use -other- 3d platforms and see how stuff is done there, and try to see if you can fit that square peg into a round hole in Autocad.

I hope that's not too much poop on the parade.

Just seems like no one has really ever documented any topics that are really worth being talked about.  I once started a blag on wordpress with the intent of doing so... I made 3 posts, said "CRAP THIS IS TOO MUCH WORK" for no actual payback, and forgot about it for a long time.  I know, not very philanthropic of me.

I mainly stick to forums for learning.  Got specific topics you want to talk about, just throw 'em up in the Three Deez sections, and we can start a dialog.

There may also be some topics worth reading in the 3D section you might learn from, already.
