Upgrade to 2011
« on: April 05, 2010, 10:50:43 AM »
We're about to upgrade to AutoCAD 2011 and possibly look into purchasing Visual Studio Professional.  Our applications are all written in C# Express 2008.  Should we stick to the 2008 VS when we upgrade or has anyone experienced any problems using VS 2010 with AutoCAD 2011?

If you want to connect to SQL 2000 you wont be able to through VS 2010

Acad 2011 uses .NET 3.5, you can target .NET 3.5 from Visual Studio 2010 or 2008.
.NET 4 seems to work well with Acad 2011, but its not default.
I might get VS 2010 and target the default framework for Acad 2011  :-)
