Hey guys,

We do all of our dimensioning and annotation in paperspace here and I am in the process of trying to convince my boss that (for details we reuse over and over) we should be dimensioning them in modelspace so the associativity is maintained across multiple layouts and drawing files via designcenter. I think we could make these details blocks that we could insert but we cannot use xrefs for this as we need the files to not be dependant on external files because they are being sent out of house and we don't want to be reliant on anyone binding this information before sending. I plan on attaching a pros and cons sort of list explaining annotative objects and not needing multiple dimensions scales and layers and whatnot as well.

I am also trying to illustrate how accident proned dimensions in paperspace can be when you do not know the rules you must follow.

Can you take a look at this and let me know if you think I am selling it well or if I am leaving out something?

Thanks
