Title: ArchDeskTop VS Windows XP Media Center
Post by: duh on December 06, 2005, 07:03:32 PM
AutoDesk informs me that ArchDeskTop 2006 is NOT supported by Windows XP Media Center.
MicroSoft informs me that XP Media Center is simply XP Professional (which supports Desktop) with the addition of one single component - a TV tuner.
AutoDesk informs me that "not supported" may mean that it simply hasn't been tested using that OS.

So....
Has anyone "tested" it? Does anyone here have experience with ArchDeskTop on XP Media Center?

Thanks much,
Duh!

Amendment:
For that matter, Revit 8 has the same stated limitation....anyone with experience with this software and media center?

I have not tested it myself but I know a slew of guys with new laptops with Windows MCE and ADT2006 loaded and they don't have anymore problems than the rest of us.

I love that: "..any more problems than the rest of us" LOL
Thanks for the info.

Any one else with input on this post?
