Title: Crazy leaders/dimension
Post by: Kate M on January 29, 2004, 02:39:27 PM
Anybody ever had an associative leader or dimension suddenly go flying off into space? Usually happens after a zoom or pan...unfortunately (or fortunately) sporadic, so you may not be able to replicate it. I can't figure it out...there aren't any obvious triggers. I'm not moving anything the leader is connected to...

Yeah.. I've seen that a few times myself but only in ACAD2004. It also only seems to happen in pspace. I havn't found a solution yet except to delete the dimension and re-dimension.

Sorry no solution, just confirmation that this 'bug' does exist.

I have seen it happen when an associate object was edited outside of the original UCS where it was created, but never just suddenly move when zooming or panning.

Yea'sm I have seen it, done it, ...  dunno how to kill it ...  yet.

I have had them occur in MS as well, during a zoom &/or pan.
It has happened most noticably with outside dwgs.   I have never had the problem with our own inhouse created dwgs.   But I have seen it, done it in both 2000i and 2k4.
