Title: Restrict AutoCAD and all its services from accessing the internet
Post by: mailmaverick on October 24, 2021, 01:56:31 AM
Hi,

Is there any way to restrict AutoCAD and all its services from accessing the internet using Windows Firewall.
Even if I restrict the Inbound and Outbound rules in Windows Defender Firewall, AutoCAD is still able to connect to internet.

In newer versions, not exactly doable.  The license manager has to contact the Autodesk online license server every 30 days or so.  Don't forget help is online by default, so you would have to set up the local version as well.

If you know what addresses it's hitting you could modify your host file to point them to 127.0.0.1

I have also noticed some programs putting their domain in trusted domain in my profile.
