Title: Any Software for Getting Google Earth Data into AutoCAD
Post by: mailmaverick on April 03, 2021, 10:07:36 AM
Hi There,

Sorry if I'm posting the question in the wrong forum (Autolisp) but I'm posting it here because this is the most visited forum among all others.  :2funny:

Is there any software (commercial, not free) which provides following functionality inside AutoCAD (just basic AutoCAD and not Map 3D / Civil 3D) :-
1.) View Google Earth Imagery or Open Street Map in the background, as we zoom or pan within our project boundary.
2.) Get Google Earth Elevations in form of a grid within a Selected Closed Polyline
3.) Get Google Earth Elevations for selected Texts or Points.
4.) Export Selected Objects to KML
5.) Import KML and create AutoCAD objects.

Thank You.

This has been available in Civil 3D & Map for some time now, and

this is also present in 2020 version of AutoCAD.

But note it's bing map and not from google.

You can Import online maps + KML + SHP and you can export KML filew from autocad to ggole map. You can do a lot of things . Very good job from VovKa .
