Title: Transform a Mesh into 3D Solid
Post by: Lupo76 on August 10, 2019, 03:05:02 AM
Hi everyone,
how can I convert the mesh in the attached file into a 3D solid?

I tried to use the CONVTOSOLID command but it doesn't work  :embarrassed:
Is there any other way?

I also accept solutions that require the use of another software.

Thanks in advance.

I came to know this topic to apply it to the problems I've encountered.

Autocad could do better with this. We use rhino a lot to work with mesh.

However if you explode the mesh then extrude the 3dfaces by say -.0001 you have solids (many not one) that you can section and flatshot.
