Is there a feature like the revit key notes in civil 3d?
-
Not that I am aware of... Its interesting you bringing that up. I have had an idea kinda like that for Civil Plan Sheets. Where the Note Bubble links to the keynotes. But as you select an object via xref. It would read the layer name or something to know what it is called.
Like I said, its an idea just playing around with. Good Question though.

One might be able to implement something using sheet set manager and call out block(s)....but I imagine it would be tedious and or cumbersome.

I submitted this idea to the Civil 3D Idea station a few years ago. It has been accepted, no telling when it will actually be implemented. Why it takes so long to do so is a bit baffling, since the code is all there already in the AEC base code which C3D uses for many other things.

They haven't figured out how to muck it up yet....as soon as they do it will be a new nuisance to deal with.
