When I start dos_traywnd from doslib, e.g. the code from help-file
(dos_traywnd "DOSLib" "To check for updates\nclick here!" 200 100 "www.mcneel.com")
the process acad.exe keeps running in the task-manager after I closed AutoCAD (current 2018 1.1 or Civil 2018 ..)
Can somebody confirm this behaviour or is is a problem of my PC?

My 2018.1.1 AutoCAD process closed out after I closed the browser window and shut down AutoCAD.

Hi Peter, problem replicated here. Tested with both AutoCAD 2018 and 2017. (Browser didn't make any difference for me).

Thanks to both for their reports. More test-results are still appreciated.

Problem replicated in 2018 and 2017 here.
In 2016, the acad.exe process does end as expected.
-
Problem not replicated with BricsCAD V16 & V17, but something is amiss because because the "Event Viewer" console (in Windows 10) logs an Application Error has occurred when BricsCAD is shutdown. Screen shot attached.

After further review I can replicate the issue as well. The first time I tried it I had my Task Manager open to the Application tab and not the Processes tab.

Thanks to all for their reports. I contacted Dale and hoping for an answer.

Issue should be fixed with current version 9.03, November 2017.
