Anyone using a drone for their project?
The photography side of it would be a no brainer.
-
Current environment of commercial use is too risky for us.

We have a survey/scanning division for that. They handle point cloud scanning from stationary and vehicle-borne laser scanners, as well as drone-based scanning. They've acquired a full commercial operating license so they can go pretty much anywhere.

Very cool.
I wonder how long it will be until we see google drones flying by. :)

Not for a LONGGGGG time, the privacy implications will throw millions into a frenzy.

I understand the Drones with privacy but what about "scanners" in general?

Check out this marketing video.
Whenever the camera is moving, the footage was taken with a drone.

I ran this interiors project last year. The stair and green wall behind the guy and girl speaking is also my work.

Running a mini-drone in that atrium would have been a lot simpler and faster than the old way with a camera boom system or hydraulic lift.

Wait a minute!!!!
What kind of Drones are we talking about?
The two legged kind? Or the ones that fly?
