Title: DWG to PDF Simplex Transparency
Post by: MSTG007 on May 09, 2017, 02:26:55 PM
Why does Simplex look the way it does when a transparency is applied to it? It is shown at 50%. But when I try it with Arial it looks correct. Does the transparency do this to all SHX files?

thanks for the help!

SHX is a stroked font, unlike TTF it's built as a record of segments which get printed as lines (no doubt a legacy of supporting text on the old pen-plotters).  Try changing the line join and/or end types in the plot style and look at the results.

Hey,
Thanks for the help. I did mess around with those settings and still getting somewhat the same results. I guess it only works with TTF's.
