Has anyone else been requested to do this?
Email snip:
Dear So and So
Together, Autodesk and our customers are driving the future of making things. There are radical changes happening right now in the way things are designed, made and used.
To ensure you have the best of tools and right insights into how to get the most from your investment, Autodesk's Software Asset Management Team requests your company's participation in a Software Review to confirm installation and usage of Autodesk products and services are in alignment with Autodesk licensing agreements.
Autodesk has created a self-service website to assist you in the Review process. The Autodesk Software Review Portal is located at: https://software-review.autodesk.com (https://software-review.autodesk.com). Your company's unique registration code is: XXXXXX
Please register in the Portal and provide all of your company's required information within 10 days of receipt of this email. A User Guide, FAQ's and other resources are available in the Portal to direct you through the review process.
If you experience issues with your registration, please contact an Autodesk Software Management Representative at 844-458-0763 for assistance.
Thank you for your cooperation.
Sincerely,
The Autodesk Software Management Team

Well, they've had someone in marketing rewrite the email, but we've been audited twice in the past few years.
My advice, do your own audit prior to installing and running their tool. Uninstall *all* adesk software that is no longer in use, even if you haven't used it in years. And it goes without saying, if you have anything installed that shouldn't be, get rid of it.

Good luck, I heard murmurs at a conference from a group of resellers that they are tightening up the home/office split for license keys. Maybe this is tied to that?

Thanks for the reply guys. :)

Based on what I've seen, probably not an audit. But can't hurt to do an internal one anyways.

Also been getting emails offering deep discounts on 1st years subscription to get rid of my perpetual licenses...not happening...
