Title: A Request to add some extra smarts into Parcel Line/Curve Tag Labels
Post by: sourdough on December 21, 2016, 01:10:58 PM
Good Holidays All
Been thinking of a new way to do Parcel line/curve tag labels... the wish would be that we could have them be in a Group based on picked line/curve tags, and which side based on clockwise/counterclockwise each tag would go. Each group would be a set of tags picked. This could be done as a Batch process. The order of each Group set very much like we do already in Point groups (move up or down). It would also have label style for each tag picked (in case it has to be a span). Once all the groups are put together we could then run a Batch of the groups together and do all the re-numbering of parcel line/curve tag labels in one task. Now, Jeff M. this could be a task for you, or if someone with influence can get this to the people at Civil 3D, or and the Best would be our Great Programmers within our group. Anybody want to do this? Hey, this is just an idea. Feel free to add to this discussion of how to automate the Parcel Line/Curve Tag Labels. Oh Yes, one other diddy. I want to zoom to a tag from the table or by a find tag option.

Regards/Happy Holidays!

Mike, here's a place to post this that the developers read:
AutoCAD Civil 3D Ideas (http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/autocad-civil-3d-ideas/idb-p/31)

Not sure how doable this is from a 3rd party standpoint.
