Title: Edit Parcels | User-Defined Properties
Post by: BlackBox on October 28, 2016, 11:23:43 AM
I am hoping that there's an easier way of doing this; do we really have to edit Parcel UDPs one-at-a-time?

I finally tried creating a UPD today, and cannot seem to find a way to edit that in toolspace table format (sort of like Edit Points)?

Basically, our client wants us to format a residential subdivision's address plan the way another firm did for an adjacent property... This means using a Table.

Rather than manually populating a table, or using Excel, I thought I'd try UDP - Parcels already have an Address Property, but the client wants Address # and Street Name in separate columns within the table.

Figured it out -

Expand Sites, <YourSite>, right click Parcels, select Properties.  In Site Parcel Properties dialog, Composition tab, middle right, change User-defined property classification drop down accordingly for your UDP's class (i.e., Unclassified, <YourCustomClassName>, etc.), and hit OK Button.

Now your UPD can be included in the 'table' view of Toolspace.

I was incorrect that I'd done all of the prerequisites for UDP, because I was able to assign a value to individual Parcels (via right click Parcel Properties dialog).  :-D
