Title: FEMA shp files
Post by: alanjt on September 29, 2016, 11:46:28 AM
Has anyone ever found a place to get flood lines in SHP format, specifically in Florida and Georgia?
You can download FIRMs from FEMA and they will import into cad at the correct location, but you still don't have linework.

Am I missing something with the layers?
If you bring in the S_FLD_HAZ_LN file, it draws in flood lines, but there isn't a property in the table specifying the zone.

This is mentioned in the metadata file, but not included in the download, and I can't find online.

I'm dumb, it's a separate file for just the zone labels.
S_FLD_HAZ_LN = linework
S_FLD_HAZ_AR = labels

Thank you, Michael.

FEMA seems to have changed something and while you can download a FIRM panel, I can no longer find where it will let you download SHP files.
Has anyone had any luck getting such files recently?
