I have attached a drawing with some elevated polylines.
When you open the drawing, they display, but you cannot select them, and they disappear as soon as you regen.
ssget will select them, but that doesn't really help.
I used SSX to select the polylines to wblock out, and they are still a problem in the wblock file.
Has anyone else ever seen something like this?

If you go into a 3d view all the lines are selectable

Interesting.
Thing is, they were selectable from top view at first, then suddenly they weren't.
What could have happened to change this?

Have you tried rebooting?

Yes. I replaced the linework with a backup file, but I wanted to know if anyone had any ideas as to the problem.

There are 2 things that stand out. First, the polylines have many vertices (up to 500). This can cause problems if you try to preselect ('grip') many. Second, the polylines have a linetype that makes it hard to see a 'dashed' PREVIEWEFFECT.
Is the problem also present if you preselect a single polyline?
(Note: I use BricsCAD).

I noticed changing from Parallel to Perspective and back again made them selectable again, too.
Looks like the drawing has the hiccups. The fix is to turn it upside-down and hit it on the back. :laugh:

Yes weird... But I found my solution :
- command "NAVCUBE" => "ON"
- command "VIEW" => "SWISO"
- press "TOP" on NAVCUBE
It should select afterwards...
