Title: (C3D 2016) Viewframes
Post by: Mark on September 21, 2016, 09:19:29 AM: Is there a way to renumber view frames? I have a drawing with 38 of them and i would like to renumber them to match the sheets they are associated with.

unless one regenerate the sheets, NOTHING would happen to your existing sheets

Except you'd lose matchline stationings, links to sheets, etc. Ya know, I'm not seeing that you can specify the numbering of the VF's anyway. Yes, it has a counter for the Name, but they always get numbered with the lowest available (usually 1), as far as I can tell.

One can use view frames for subdivisions..invisible alignments 'squared' to your desired sheet order
and you do not need profile frames, just plan frames it's not that hard to do.
