When you download a nice Dynamic Block from the internet and it is in Metric units and you work in Imperial units. Is there a Conversion Factor that can change it into Imperial units without losing any of the Dynamics of the block? Hopefully this is not a stupid question. Thanks in advance.

There are several. You need to determine what units to what units, i.e. mm to inches is 25.4.

To go from mm to inches it's 0.0393701.

Well there are feet and then there are other feet ... imperial feet will give you a surprise if you are converting to US SURVEY feet for state plane conversion. Sorry but I do not remember the true conversion factor, only the wrath of the surveyor if difference was neglected.

International Foot (also commonly called the foot) and the U.S. Survey Foot. The International Foot (which we were all taught in school) is defined as 0.3048 meters, whereas the U.S. Survey Foot is defined as 0.3048006096 meters. The difference of the two equates to 2 parts per million.

Oh, I know it had less real significance than a mosquito phart during a hurricane but not to the folk reviewing our state plane ties ... if the wrong conversion was used or even noted in the statement on the plat incorrectly, the whole approval was stopped until EVERYTHING was examined and the universe was put back in order.
My apologies to the original poster for the thread hijack but has been awhile since I felt I could roil TheSwamp waters a little and could not resist the temptation.

Also depending on our source and target, under Options -> Preferences -> Insertion Scale you can modify how new blocks are inserted.

As you know, that 'only' affects blocks being inserted, NOT the ones already in the drawing inserted or not.
