Hi everybody,
I'm writing my firs post :)
Someone is able to explain me, step by step how to use this?

Because I've creted a complicated dynamic block, and to make it able to work, I must create many visibility states...fortunately on the internet I found this lisp:

I think this would save me a lot of time...but I'm not able to use it... :(
Thank you

first good work finding The Swamp!
second,
you do not need to use that LISP
open block editor and assign visibility states as desired...
a key point LEAVE everything visible as you create each state
AND THEN
set each state current and adjust/add items that should be visible or NOT to each state....

Hi mjfarrell thank you,
I've creted the dynamic block with the visibility states....I'll explain...I would like to create a block like this...:
https://forums.autodesk.com/autodesk/attachments/autodesk/154/16561/1/Multiple%20Visibility%20States.dwg (https://forums.autodesk.com/autodesk/attachments/autodesk/154/16561/1/Multiple%20Visibility%20States.dwg)
I already have all the visibility states cobinations, but I don't know how to add the lookup control ...and so I've founded the lisp...
-
from what I can see there is no 'look up' control on that block, only visibility states...
EDIT - yes there is a look up table in that block you linked to,however it does not appear to function without using properties dialogue
what do you want your block to do actually?

Holy moley, I could not imagine the number of look up table lines in that block. Basically every option or view is it's own visibility state.

It is interesting to say the least...
although I am reminded of this
"Just because you can, never means you should"

Okay in this days I've tried, I've started to made it whit the lookup table. Sforunately I've to create 315 visibility states :(...

or you need other blocks....
why make it that complicated?

I've thinked that, but in this dynamic block I've some data field inserted, and so I would have to redefine 8 blocks for each data field... :-o :-o
I've just vrited here: http://www.theswamp.org/index.php?topic=50645.0 (http://www.theswamp.org/index.php?topic=50645.0) maybe someone has an idea...
Thank you!
