Has anyone had problems with 2016 pdf driver when publishing with a custom paper sizes?
-
I just "fixed" my PDF output but I'm still on on AutoCAD 2014.
-
I have not successfully published a pdf that uses custom size, or I have done single page and not able to do multiple sheet pdf.
-
No issues here, DWG to PDF will attempt to make a custom page size if under options -> Plot and Publish -> Keep the layout paper size if possible is checked.

best to create a named page setup for this - making sure to create and specify your 'custom' page size while doing so

I created fuc%$*ng 5 different ones, I imported and set the layouts to same setup, I re-installed, repaired, plotted custom paper size with KIP, DWF from same drawing of pagesetups.
I tried resetting everything to default and added custom size to default pc3 file, put it in same folder.
Tried on 3 other computers.
Created some other drawings with 2016, 2015, 2013 that had a line and empty to try.
Sometimes it tells me that the plotting folder is read-only and cannot write to file, even though it does not needto, sometimes no info, sometimes cannot find device, sometimes dies immediately, sometimes tries first sheet for 5 to seconds then dies, background, foreground, does not matter.
Can Plot a single one, tried about every different setting you could and 2015 works fine.
I pretty much at point asking people I work with if they would like to have meltdown in conference so they watch and enjoy, or just print it 2015.

I know your pain. Think zen-like thoughts (unless they irritate you). mj can be frustrating but he knows what he's doing in my experience. You are in capable hands.
Gooooz-frabba.

what size are you after?
that makes it such a pain point?
AND is it really a custom page size you are after?
-
further....you are probably aware that Autodesk has muddied the waters in 2016 with these four(4) YES FOUR!!!! PDF 'presets'?
PDF Presets/PC3 files shipped with the system

They like having the entire base 1-line on the wall in their office and main substation which this particular one fits on two 78"x36" sheets.
Done it many times before just not with 2016.

try the attached...pagesetup and pc3
you might want to just XREF your file in and make a viewport

It often seems you are doing things the hard way BUT I have learned a TON by following through and in the long run, your advice always either makes my life easier or I end up with an in depth understanding that winds up serving me well in other areas.
So YES, that is a compliment. :-)

My methods are often NOT for expediency, they are more for long term efficiency and usually have a high efficacy rating.
However they do offer productivity gains in both the short and long term.

Jeff? What are you doing?

Putting out fires will give it a try in sec

Oh yeah I got it work, right when you posted that , 2016 has publish options for pdf and dwf with sheet sets and if I unselect capture fonts it works.
