I'm using AutoCAD Civil 3D 2014 on a loner PC. When I <right-click> and bring up the Osnap menu the hot-keys (underlined letters) are not there. The keys still work though! Can I turn those on or are they gone forever?
thanks

Not there in C3D2012....can't recall when I last saw them!

They were in C3D2013. :D

It has got to be a Windows thing. My last PC had XP on it.

It is a Windows thing....Control Panel, Ease of Access, Make Keyboard easier to use, check the box next to "Underline keyboard shortcuts and access keys"

why would you want them?

If one is already using the rt-cick function there is no need to see that underline, for one reason why not have them cluttering up the view.

A little underline under one letter is not clutter my opinion. I will say that I use the mnemonic indicators are very help in learning keyboard shortcuts. Once learned I never look at the right-click menu or for that matter ribbon, pull down, buttons, etc for those commands. So essences I have even less clutter. ^-^

Mark,
Try holding the ALT key down and see if the pull downs and what not light up with Mnemonics characters.
