bonjour, I'm trying to migrate from acad2012 to acad2015
I've got two drawings opened in acad2015, each one containing only 1 rectangle
When I select the rectangle in dwg A, then switch to dwg B via Ctrl+Tab, then switch back to dwg A via Ctrl+Tab, the rectangle is no longer selected
Is there a settings in acad2015 to prevent loosing the active selection ?

A major change in AutoCAD2015 is the complete removal of Microsoft's long-deprecated fiber technology.
That means mid-command document switching is no longer supported. Every time you'll try do this a *CANCEL* is send to the command.

I thought I was looking forward to 2015. I guess there is always select previous.

Thanks for the link
I'm not switching in the middle of a command, there is no command, there is no Cancel
I just select the object by clicking on it and then switch tab

Why are you switching tabs?
Why not tile the windows and work between them in a tiled configuration?

I don't think Tiling would fit our workflow as we open many drawings in the same session

This suggests you change that habit to gain greater efficiency.
