Do you have a VBA command that you crashed out of? I get this when I lose my link to excel, and Autocad wont close.
-
hit escape about a dozen times and then try to close ... I have had the same problem ....
-
I have a 22 oz. Eastwing that will take care of that problem every time.

hmmm interesting.
If you type exit at the command line it will let me close out of it then, but esc does nothing.

If your drawing is saved, you can ctrl/alt/del and kill the autocadd process.
-
REFEDIT still open??

Nope seems to crash out of a command..though none in particular seems to be the cause
REFEDIT still open??
Am working with a large xref, but not using refedit CADaver.
-
You could always saveas a different name, close, delete the offending dwg and rename the new one.

Yes 10gig or so.
Have blamed it on the network and am now getting a 1Gb network conx. maybe this will sort the problem out!!
doubt it but at least it will be a faster problem

So far, haven't found the problem/why but using [ _.qsave close ] < +made a short on top, has saved me many a time!!
