Post by: One Shot on January 10, 2005, 05:05:18 PM
It would be nice to have an area for all the building codes.  So if someone is having problems trying to find the right code.  They code go there for help?

If you want info on the Internation Code, you can go the the forum at ICC (International Code Council) at iccsafe.  These are the new building codes used by most states.  (Of course California remains on the Uniform Building Code.)

I know the everything is switching over to the ICC.  But a lot of townships still use some sort of old codes that they like.

One Shot,

The forum that Bob mentioned not only caters to the ICC, but it also has several on there that discuss other code formats as well like the UBC, CBC and more. Just post your questions, state what code you are under and wait for a reply. It's a good site and has been useful to me for some time now.
