Title: INTERNAL ERROR: !dbqspace.h@410: ePermanentlyErased
Post by: freerangequark on November 17, 2004, 12:02:48 PM
I am designing a 3D model of a new deck. Not very complex.

I saved my work yesterday and upon trying to reopen the file today got the message "INTERNAL ERROR: !dbqspace.h@410: ePermanentlyErased"

What is this and what caused it?

Where are my autosaves?

Why won't my drawing recover?

Why will inserting the drawing not get it back?

Where did the last four hours go?

I have also unsucessfully tried the following suggestion I found...

"Re: INTERNAL ERROR: !dbqspace.h@410: ePermanentlyErased

Open up another good drawing in the Project. Use etransmit or PaknGo, add corrupt file you are trying to repair. You must then go to change settings to pack in AutoCAD 2000 format or other version of AutoCAD. Then extract those converted files. Once this is done you can open the corrupt converted files and begin your recovery."

That didn't work either.

I hcan send the file if you think you know a possible fix.

It would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Glenn

Why don't you zip up the drawing and post it here. Maybe someone else can open it.

Hi Ronjonp,

I uploaded the file and placed it in the Freerangequark directory.  Filename is "overview.zip".

Thanks,
Glenn

Here is a fixed drawing. You should be able to open it now.

All I did was File>>Drawing Utilities>>Recover

Ronjonp,

Thank you VERY much for salvaging that file.  I was starting to get worried.  I am really curious what caused this in the first place and why I wasn't able to recover it with the Drawing Utilities Recover feature.

Thanks again,
Glenn

Ronnie, Ronnie, he's our man. If HE can't fix it, no one can!
Good show, Ron.

And Glenn .... welcome aboard.  Fasten your seatbelt and enjoy the ride.....

Thank you for the welcome!

I used to frequent Cadalog so I see a lot of familiar names here already.

Thanks again,
Glenn
