Title: "Show for Current State" - stupid question?
Post by: James Cannon on May 29, 2009, 10:47:23 AM
I may be missing something simple or obvious.. but when you have a visibility state in a block, and you select an object, right-click, and go to control visibility... one of the options is "Show for Current State"

...

Why would that even be an option for the RClick menu?  If it wasn't shown for the "current state" you wouldn't be able to SELECT it to toggle it on.

Or am I missing something?

There is a toggle to show objects not in the current visiblity state faded.
That way you could select a not shown (faded) object and make it visible.

In your defense, I am a dynamic block geek and spend a lot of time in the editor.

Yea, but I'm also one of those who plays around a whole lot with the toys... and THEN reads the instructions at last resort,  :-D  I often miss little nuances like this.
