Title: File Compatibility Issues - AutoCAD ADT 2007 to ADT 2004
Post by: CB_Cal_UK on August 07, 2007, 09:45:01 AM
Hi guys,

I've been a bit absent for a while, so I hope you're all well (and throughly enjoying getting to grips with latest 2008 releases . . . )

Has anybody come across a problem where drawings created in AutoCAD ADT2007 and saved down into ADT2004 format 'lose' their ADT functionality?

I have been producing layout drawings for a client and they are telling me that they cannot work with the drawings I send them.

Thanks in advance

Chris

The Civil verticals require using "export" rather than "save as" to preserve their objects.  "Save as" results in nothing but AutoCAD primitives in the exported file.
