Title: ADT Detail Calllout leaders causing problems in the Feild
Post by: Krushert on March 01, 2007, 03:18:22 PM
Emailed from another architect:
....this is too funny to not pass along. This is from a project we have under construction. They built a kink in the stair that follows the detail leader line from the plans - see attached image, I'm not kidding. Plus they added a riser - so they are only about 5" high each! Somebody's in trouble. Hope everyone's having a better day than that contractor.

...  they did add an additional tread from that leader line. They didn't just carve out a corner from a shown tread.  We are only showing 4 risers and they built 5.

And they say the Architects can only have this kinda fun. :-D

What's the vertical line in the stairs; part of a section cut?

That is all I got for a photo.  But I would assume so because I section my stairs.   :|

I think it's a handrail.   Better put a handrail on those steps.

seriously though... that's too freaking funny.

Hilarious.
