A VB app would be cool.

Pseudo Code

- Search drives for dwgs
- Sort em based on criteria
- Put em in their prospective directories

Their are lots of code fragments here (as well as other places) that will get you started.

Welcome to the Pond by the way.  :-)

Welcome to theswamp

I was in a situation like yours a couple of years ago. I have ended up redrawing MOST of our blocks and filing the "approved" blocks in a locked down area so the originals cannot be edited.

Hiya Chance.  Again, welcome to the swamp.

A quick search found this (http://www.theswamp.org/index.php?topic=6576.45) that may be a useful starting place.

Good luck and if ya find somethin let others know!  :-)
