Title: Rotate Annotations in Shape file

does anybody know how to rotate an annotation in a shape file? it would be easy to rotate with the standard rotate command but, when i refresh my annotations it resets it. another way i can do it is to burst the annotation to make it a regular text, but then i would lose the connection between the shape and the text. any suggestions?
