Is there a way or a command that will allow you to explore the contents of an SHX file and find out what shapes are in it?

With SHX2SHP.exe (http://www.ejsings.dk/hentfil.php?id=12&filnavn=shx2shp.zip) you can decompile a .SHX font.
The result is an ascii-file that you can read/edit in a text editor (or open with lisp).

Or just draw some lines.

A small and old (but still valid, at least for Win7x64) application named shxviewer, can be found here (http://freecadapps.mcadcafe.com/swdetails.php?page=category&value=ACG-TDU&orgvalue=ACG&review=4784&rowcolor=fce08d).

Thanks!
