Anyone have a good routine that can take a feature line with arcs and explode them to a 3D Polyline "Where the arcs are not segmented lines to make up the arc?"
-
What should happen to the Fline arc segments then?
-
Well, I did some research.. Apparently I did not have the most recent Service Pack installed. I have it installed now and the issue went away.

The reason I was asking for this was once I audited and fixed my errors I would loose certain "insert elevation points".
I knew I could explode the feature line and recreate the line, but with the arcs. They became segmented.

an export to autocad would get your geometry, but not the elevations back
-
Your right about the export, but again it would be nice if it was possible to have 3d arcs with elevations.

There is so much that would be NICE if autodesk fixed inside C3D, where does one start or end that list?

I'd just like them to start by fixing all of the known bugs issues, some of which go back years.

That makes thousands of us wishing the same thing....however that wont happen as long as autodesk has everyone's' subscription dollars.
