Title: Civil 3D on a 64 bit OS
Post by: spittle on May 14, 2008, 05:48:23 AM
We're looking for a workstation that can cope with 3D Modelling using AutoCAD, rendering using 3DS Max and also the use of Civil 3D.

So how does Civils run on a 32bit OS? I understand it can by doing something, just not sure how. And would it impact on other 64bit applications?

Build whatever OS you want; C3D will run on it. With 09 it appears they have the installation issues sorted, with other versions you will need alter the MSI to install on 64 bit OS.
