Title: XSTEEL (Tekla structurtes) and Autocad
Post by: Amsterdammed on November 09, 2006, 05:07:48 AM
Hello there,

in our current project we have to design the mechanical installations in a complex building. The building is made from steel and designed in XSTEEl.

Is there any possibility to export the xsteel drawing with all the 3d functionality to acad2006 so that i can use it as 3d xref?

Thanks in advance

Bernd

My memory of XSteel is quite old ... you may be better served asking on their forum .. I don't recall any mention of XSteel here previously

I meant if they can export to Acad in, let's say solids of surfaces, something you can work further in Acad
