Title: Visibility Grip Not Displaying - Acad 2011

I posted this on AUGI over a week ago and got no response. I hope no one feels like this is a cross-post.

I created a dynamic block last week with visibility states. It worked fine. I opened the drawing today click on the block to show the grips and the visibility grip isn't showing. If I insert a new copy of the same block, the visibility state grip works fine.

Suggestions?

Update. I went back into the drawing in question. I have six instances of the problem block. Oddly,
I notice that one out the six will show it's visibility grip when I select it.

Be sure that the scale of X,Y and Z are the same
Its better to retype the scale again
