Title: Thank the dieties of CAD
Post by: Shinyhead on April 26, 2006, 02:57:41 PM
:-D Its a red letter day, one of our stone age clients finally is seeing the light.

They have decided that we are now allowed to make drawings which;
Do not explode all hatch.
Do not explode all dimensions
Do not scale everything in modelspace down to the size of the titleblock.
Do use paperspace and modelspace.

They are even letting us redo their dimstyles for them so they can make the " mark not show up in the angular dims :lmao:

Apparently they outsourced to some companies that refused to draw to the standards they had set, so they were forced to see drawings done in these "newfangled" ways.

Sometimes it pays to be patient, really really patient.

Congrats Chris!

Gotta love it when some folks finally "get it".  Sounds like it may be time to nudge their rates up a tad, eh?

Resistance is futile.
