Title: AutoCAD 2016 - Coordination Models

The help file contains a system variable "CMOSNAP" to enable object snap within coordination models.

My vanilla 2016 AutoCAD throws an unknown variable/command error.

For those running 2016, do you have this system variable?

Thanks, I wonder if they forgot to include it in the installation package?

It was releases after the 2016 release. To help You get to Subscription pages ..

It couldn't have been purposely released after the 2016 release as the help files were installed during my installation of 2016.

Help files are not installed, they are webbased.

From the above quote one can infer that they 'forgot' to actually include the parts of cade to make a highly touted feature work in the initial release of the program.
Would not be the first time autodesk advertises or announces a feature; to then have it NOT function as advertised upon release.

One notable to consider; Sheet Set Manager.  The fail: that a single layout can NOT be part of many sets, and that was the major touted benefit of SSM.
For the record it is still broken.

You could infer that.  You'd be wrong though.  Snapping to coordinate model wasn't intended for the original release but there was a high enough demand for it that it was added later, so as not to delay the entire release for a single feature.

YEAH, that's why its called a 'feature update' and NOT  'New Feature' right?
