Point style strangeness ( C3D 2006 )
« on: June 24, 2006, 08:25:25 AM »
If I change the "Marker" in my point style to "AutoCAD Point" the point label ( text ) is not selectable. This is the first time I've seen this problem! Is anyone else having the same problem?

thanks

One of my tech support issues a while back was a lot like this.  Changing an existing label to use an AutoCAD point caused all of the points that had been created after it to lock up.  Changing it back cleared it all up.  Never did figure out a way to jumpstart it, tho.  We ended up getting all of the points created using standard labels and then when he was sure they were set properly we changed the labeling to use AC points.

Mark we had this same problem.

We were trying to stop the points plotting when outputting the final drawings. What we ended up doing was for all Standard Point Style changing it back to use the Cutsom Marker and then under the Layer tab changing it to a layer _Point. We then just turn this layer off when plotting.

There seem to be little quirky things like that have to be learned.
