Missing person: anyone seen Fixo lately?
« on: February 09, 2015, 01:56:49 AM »
With approval of Mark (admin) I try to get in contact with Fixo, one of our valued members on the Swamp by posting this message in this section.

I have not seen or heard from Fixo for over half a year and I wonder what is going on.
He does not respond on my messages at forums or on private mails wich is really odd for him.
Because of privacy I do not want to share all detailed information I have but what I can say is he has serious health issues.
Maybe somebody here does know what is going on, or heard from him..? Please let me know.

I am worried something might be wrong.

I can’t offer any useful info, I can add my deepest hope that everything works out well.  The community suffers even with a brief absence of our good friend.

1+

I too hope that Fixo pulls through whatever ailment(s) he may be facing, and returns to let us know. He's been very kind to help me over the years, and I wish him well.

Cheers

@ KPBLC: thanks for the reply, I send you a PM just in case.

Thanks everyone for the kind comments and shared worries.

The last email I got from Fixo personal was march 27th 2014 so almost a year now.
In the months after I have send him some mails but never got any response.
I have not thought anything of that, maybe just busy or so. Also I have (and still am) been in a stressful situation myself.
So time has been going very fast and I had no idea there could be somthing wrong.

I cannot share all details from the last mail I got from him but he mentioned "being back from the hospital for weekends".
And also he "had to go back april 3rd". Not heard from him since...

The internet (forums like these) is a beautiful place to meet people and keep up friendships worldwide.
However, one of the (few) disadvantages is a situation like this, we are thousands of kilometers from eachother.
What can we / I do?

Let's just all hope that everything will be good with Fixo.
Thanks again!

My last comm with Oleg was around April 23, 2014 at gmail chat under the username Oleg along the way it was changed to Lucky Dog.

Still trying to communicate with Fixo, I was trying to learn .NET under fixos guidance back then.

Hope everything turns up OK
