Meant to add

There are several ways to define the boundary, with varying results. If a polyline containing arcs is used, the clipping boundary is drawn straight, as though there were no curves when it was created. Similarly, if a curve-fit polyline is used, the clipping boundary is drawn as a straight-edged outline, ignoring the curves. However, if a polyline set as a spline is selected as the clipping boundary, it is left curved. Multiple blocks and/or external reference files can be included in a single clip boundary.
