OLE MS Word Sizing
« on: January 15, 2007, 04:37:31 PM »
We do our dwgs on 11x17 paper. Per our standards, we put Sequences of Operation in MLine text at .1 Size.

We have a few guys that are proposing, (rather strongly), that they want to start using MS Word to do their Sequences, then OLE them into AutoCad. The problem with this is that when you paste the MS Word Sequence, you have to grab it by the corner & stretch it until you get to a size that appears the same size as MLine text size .1 - which everyone seems to have a different idea of what this size is. So when the dwgs come thru me, I have to adjust most of them.

I have made a MLine block for Sequences, then wrote a macro to insert the block in the correct location. They don't like to use the MLtext editor. I don't care for it either but have learnd how to use it.

Of course you can't save an OLE as a block, like you can with my 'Sequence' block.

Is there a way to insert a MS Word OLE already sized and at a particular location?
