Just curious if any might know of a way to get the segments on this polyline to arcs? The alternative is to Trace!

The EXTRACT2d in the Sincpac-C3D may be able to do this...I haven't tested this specific case. Post a small dwg and I can test for you.

Please check this out. Basically it is a Polyline that was a feature line with elevations then exploded.

Strictly speaking, you cannot have arcs within a 3dpolyline. A spline can be 3d with "arcs" though.

I'm sorry I forgot to explode and flatten the segments and join them.

OK, that 3dpoly 'should' convert but it is not for some reason. Could I get a small dwg with that original Featureline in it?

All I did was create a basic polyline with arcs. Then converted that to a basic feature line. Added some slopes to it then exploded it twice flattened all the segments and pedit join to a lwpolyline.

OK, the Extract2d will take a Featureline with arcs and elevations and correctly convert it to a 2d polyline with arcs that mimics the original featureline. I had thought Sinc had added the ability to take a 3dpoly and determine if a 2d poly could be created with arcs, but it's not doing so. However, since it sounds like you want to take a F/L and get a 2dpoly from it, this command would do exactly that.
