3d cube of subsurfaces
« on: March 01, 2011, 02:34:25 PM »
A while back I remember seeing this software you could enter in your bore hole and test pit data and it would make a nice rendered 3d cube of the subsurfaces. Any one familiar with the name?

Look into XDREF in C3D you can then slice the strata and show them in section and profile views.

Other than that...the autocad command CYLINDER, or BOX comes to mind.

Yeah, I know Civil3D can do it. I was thinking it was going to be difficult to do with Civil3D. I looked at some other software though, and it was the same price as Civil 3D, so, I think I will just make myself proficient with these features in Civil3D.
